miley cyrusMiley Cyrus adopted a new dog, y'all. The shorn singer tweeted a photo of her adorable new chihuahua-mix, Bean, and I think everyone will agree that this is one cute little puppy. Miley just picked her up from Spot animal shelter in Los Angeles and exclaimed that the pocket-sized pooch has already brought her a lot of "sunshine."

Miley's pets have been in the news a lot recently -- you may recall that her dog Ziggy tragically (and accidentally?) killed her other dog Lila just a few weeks ago.

Miley was evidently so upset about it that her mom took to her blog on December 17 to explain to fans that Miley "still isn't ready to talk" about what happened, and feels as if she just lost two dogs, since Lila was killed and Ziggy was placed in a home without other pets or children, lest the accident wasn't a one-time thing.

Now, less than three weeks later, Miley's opened her heart and her home to another dog. I admire that she's an animal lover and frequents shelters over those terrible breeders, but tough love time: you can't fill the space Lila and Ziggy left in your heart with a Bean. Sad. Face.

Even though two of her dogs left the Cyrus-Hemsworth zoo, like, a second ago, I guess she's dealt with it enough so that a new addition to the menagerie doesn't feel like a rushed replacement.

Bean brings the total number of Miley and Liam's dogs to six -- they've got a Rottweiler-beagle mix named Happy; a German shepherd called Mate; an Alaskan Klee Kai dubbed Floyd; a rescue dog, Mary Jane; and another rescue, Penny Lane.

Oh, and by the way, Miley hasn't denied that she and Liam got married over Christmas ... maybe Bean is a wedding present they got themselves? Aw, wouldn't that be sweet.
