All the Rage 2

One of the best parts of the holiday season is finding beautiful cards from family and friends in the mailbox each day and proudly displaying them on your mantle.

But then when it's time to pack up all the decorations after New Year's, it's tough to figure out what to do with those cards, because it just seems wrong to throw them away (especially ones with cute kid photos.)

If you're looking for a simple and fun way to enjoy holiday cards year after year, look no further than the latest episode of Make It Fabulous from CafeMom Studios.

Watch and learn as host Andee Dodson teaches you how to recycle your cards and turn them into either a holiday ornament, wreath, or both if you have enough of them to spare!

Easy-peasy, right? What a fun way to not only enjoy your cards for years to come, but also get the kids involved in doing a fun craft. Making one of these adorable decorations is a total win-win, anyway you look at it.

Do you have any other suggestions for fun ways to reuse holiday cards?

My Aunt Betty would make place mats out of them. She would cut out the main design from the card, and cover them in clear contact paper.

I        I just put the cards that matter to me in my Christmas ornaments box,so when I take them out next year, and the year after that I reread them and get that warm, fuzzy and remembering  shivers all over again!cat
