Ghost Appears in TV Footage of Famous Haunted House -- Do You Think It’s Real? (VIDEO)

Myrtles Plantation

If you're a believer in the paranormal, then you probably don't need any sort of convincing that ghosts exist (because they totally do). Still, whenever any sort of concrete physical evidence pops up showing what appears to be a manifestation of a spirit, it's pretty thrilling, to say the least.

And that's what makes this video shot by WGNO reporter Vanessa Bolano at the Myrtles Plantation in St. Francisville, Louisiana so interesting, because she may have actually captured a ghost on video.

Watch the clip below, and pay special attention to the area to the above right of the bed to see the anomaly in question.

Ok, something weird is definitely going on in that video, even though we don't know for sure whether or not it was some sort of energy or apparition, or just a trick of the light or piece of dust.

And I'd probably be pretty quick to dismiss it entirely if the footage was shot anywhere other than the Myrtles, because it's very well known for having its fair share of restless spirits -- three in particular.

Two little girls are said to haunt the property. They lost their lives after eating a poisoned birthday cake that had been baked by one of the slaves on the plantation, named Chloe. She apparently made the cake for the girls' father and didn't realize they'd end up eating it too. She wound up being lynched by other slaves, and now she's said to roam the grounds of the Myrtles as well.

Sooo, was Chloe or one of the two little girls trying to make her presence known to Vanessa Bolano as she recorded her story? (I sure think so.)

What do you think -- is this a ghost or not?
