Christmas light displays can be obnoxious. Don't get me wrong, I'm no Scrooge, I'm just plain honest. As fun and cheerful as they are, they cause lots of local traffic, blind surrounding houses, and possibly the hardest part of it all? The high electric bill for the jolly homeowner.
But heck, they do it because they want to. They do it for the attention. And one homeowner in Arizona isn't getting as much attention as they'd hoped for after their neighbor stole the spotlight. No no no, they don't have a massive fabulous display of their own. Their display only boasts one word: Ditto.
One word that's getting them some totally rad national attention. This is one hilarious display you've just got to see -- check it out:

How awesome is that?! Get this: The homeowner has made a Facebook page hoping for 1,000 likes, and has already surpassed that. What a fun, quirky way to celebrate the holidays, amiright?
What I really can't get over is how much time even this little sign took. Get this: the sign may be small, but it still boasts 282 green lights, 93 red lights, and took EIGHT HOURS of labor! I'm starting to wonder which house may have required more work!
Now we have to note, this isn't the first home to think of the whole "ditto" concept. Last year a family in Oregon did the same thing, although definitely not as jazzy. Points to the Arizona family for execution, for sure.
Do you think the "ditto" lights are funny? Do you decorate for Christmas?

I do but I'm a big Christmas light fan so I like their neighbors decorations better. Looks absolutely beautiful! I don't think I could ever do that though after watching a Christmas Obsession special that showed what goes into putting up all those lights.
i just thought it was cute and fun :")
