Wow.....someone is a party pooper aka Miss. Scrooge. Get over yourself and let people have fun decorating THIER homes. I'm sure the kids in the neighborhood love it.

As someone who goes all out for halloween (we have a cemetary complete with pillars and graves, no tacky blow up stuff) I have to say you are dead wrong. My neighbours love our display and by the end of September are already asking when we're going to start setting up. Our display has even made for some friendly competion between neighbours. Just by reading this post...I'm thankful that none of my neighbours share your opinion. Thank you though for posting the pics...I got some ideas that I can incorporate into our setup.

Huh?  You just don't like Halloween decorations do you?  These are great and some look like the kids help set it up.   

My kids would LOVE all those houses (minus the blow up stuff), the spookier, the better. We go all out at Halloween. A couple of the more religious neighbors may not like it much, but we get TONS of compliments on it every year and hoards of children.

I see nothing wrong with any of these. Sounds like you just need to live in a community where they don't allow decorations at all.

Someone is being a fun sponge. These don't even come close to crossing the line. We live in a society and if your neighbors want to decorate for halloween - deal with it. Or even better, get in on the fun and turn that frown upside down.

Anyone else have little children who are frightened by the huge displays?  My kids do not like them (and are all young). 

I'll be honest, I don't like them.  Christmas decorations are cheerful, but halloween decorations are supposed to be spooky and scary.  That doesn't mix well with little children.  I'll be glad when halloween is over.  :)  And I'm thankful we live in the country with no neighbors nearby.  I can't imagine living next to some of the houses in town.

I am sure the kids will love the decorations when they are older.  Now. . . . not so much.

I was expecting to see burning crosses, chalk outlines and real animal biproducts splashed across the patio.  These look like typical Halloween decorations that only tight-lipped church secretaries complain about.
