Marilyn Monroe & Frank Sinatra’s Former House Can Be All Yours

This Just In 1

Living in a house that was once occupied by a celebrity or famous person in history is definitely intriguing, especially for whoever snaps up the West Hollywood home that Marilyn Monroe and Frank Sinatra both lived in at one point in time. (And no, they didn't actually live there together, even though that would be nothing short of wonderfully scandalous.)

The West Hollywood triplex consists of three separate units. Marilyn and Frank each occupied separate parts of the home at the same point in time back in 1961. But while Marilyn lived in her section full-time, Frank only used his as a "getaway." (Huh. I wonder what that means.)

One thing's for sure, whoever winds up purchasing this $4.75 million pad will have more than enough room to entertain friends and accommodate overnight guests.

The main house combined with the two extra units is perfect for any lavish, celebrity lifestyle. There's a total of 5,637 square feet of living space, and six bedrooms and four bathrooms on the property. And the 100-square-foot living room in the main house sounds like the perfect place to throw a party, plus there are plenty of extra rooms for friends and family members to crash in after the festivities are over.

In addition to the bedrooms in the main house, the two separate apartments sound perfectly cozy, and of course, there's the whole Hollywood history thing. (Who wouldn't want to sleep exactly where Marilyn and Frank slept?) One is a studio apartment above the garage with its own library, kitchen, and the other is a one-bedroom, one-bathroom pad with its very own atrium. (How chic!)

And if all that space is way too much for the new owner to maintain, perhaps the two apartments could be rented out to starving actors who are looking to make it big in showbiz? Living in a space that oozes with old Hollywood glamour would likely be very appealing to those with big movie star dreams.

What would you do with this compound? Would you jump at the chance to own a home with such a strong Hollywood history?

I hope you meant a 1000 square foot living room, because even my living room is bigger than 10x10. And I'm in a one bedroom apartment.
