Jenelle evansOwning your own home comes with quite a bit of responsibility, and that's why it seems kind of crazy that Teen Mom 2 star Jenelle Evans wants to rush into buying a new pad.

Earlier this week she posted the following tweet expressing her desire to upgrade her current digs: "So me and BABS are going to look at houses for me to buy! She thinks it's a smart idea and so do I and she also supports our business. My life is turning around for the better. I'm extremely happy and cannot wait until I can start decorating and painting my OWN house !!! :D"

Ok, so the decorating and painting and putting your own stamp on the house is the fun part, but I highly doubt Jenelle has considered that she may be getting in way over her head.

First off, there's the whole paying the mortgage thing (such a drag). Considering Jenelle recently said she was broke (and also had no food), adding a mortgage payment into the mix may prove to be a bit of a struggle to keep up with.

And aside from the financial aspects of owning a home, making the transition from having a landlord to being required to fix & take care of any problems on your own is pretty tough. Something tells me Jenelle isn't exactly qualified to fix a leaky sink or keep up with yard work.

For now, her best bet would probably be to find a new place to rent for a while longer until she grows up a little more and proves to be ready to take on the responsibility. She has plenty of time for owning a home down the road, and rushing into things will only set her back even further.
