When it comes to the bottom of the barrel as far as celebrity lifestyles go, reality TV stars are usually the least envied for the homes they live in. But while the beach house the Jersey Shore crew resided in during their summers in Seaside Heights wasn't exactly luxurious, Snooki and JWoww definitely got a bit of a housing upgrade for their spinoff show filmed in Jersey City.
Their apartment, which is actually a converted firehouse from the 1860s, is a lot more lavish, not to mention much more expensive that what you'd expect from a couple of Jersey guidettes. (I think the abundance of tacky animal prints is what threw us off.)
The pad rents for $12,000 per month, which sounds like a lot, but honestly isn't that much by New York area standards when you consider how big the place is. With 4,700 square feet of living space plus a rooftop deck, there's more than enough room to spread out and enjoy the hustle and bustle of city life.
Episodes of Snooki & JWoww really didn't do this place justice, as it has four bedrooms and three bathrooms, making it more than large enough for a growing family. Hmm -- maybe Snooki should've thought about hanging onto the pad so she and Jionni could live there after the baby arrives instead of shacking up in his parents' basement.
