Is Robert Pattinson Hiding Out at Reese Witherspoon's Sprawling Ranch? (VIDEO)

by Mary Fischer on August 1, 2012 at 12:00 PM

reese witherspoon ranchAfter Robert Pattinson moved out of the home he shared with Kristen Stewart last week, everyone was wondering where exactly he fled to start the process of healing his broken heart. And you'd think that after hearing that Kristen cheated on him with married director Rupert Sanders, he'd head straight for a fancy hotel suite in Hollywood so he could drown his sorrows and try to forget that Kristen ever existed.

But instead, Rob is apparently not in Los Angeles at all -- instead, he's reportedly hiding out by himself at Reese Witherspoon's ranch in Ojai, California. (No, she's not there with him -- it's her vacation home.)

It's the same $7 million home where Reese married Jim Toth back in 2011, and it really fits the definition of "getting away from it all." Witherspoon's home was built in 1923 and sits on seven acres, and includes a swimming pool and guest cottages, so there's always the possibility that Rob is holed up in one of those instead of the main house. (Especially if he's still a smoker.)

And if Rob starts to get lonely all by himself at the ranch, at least there is a resident horse and a pony to keep him company, along with pigs, chickens, goats, donkeys, and four dogs. Since he and Kristen are currently in a battle over who will keep their beloved dog, Bear, the animals are probably a welcome distraction for him.

But one distraction he most definitely won't have to worry about is being bothered by the media, because according to Reese, you "can't access email" at the home. Sounds like the perfect place to get over a breakup if you ask me.

You can hear more about Rob possibly staying at Reese's home in this video clip.

Do you think getting out of L.A. is a good move for Rob?
