George Foreman Indoor/Outdoor GrillThere's nothing better on a summer evening than hanging out on the deck with family and friends & firing up the grill to enjoy a delicious and healthy meal. Warmer temperatures and lazy days really go hand in hand with the good old barbecue -- but I have a bit of a confession to make. I have absolutely no idea how to turn on our grill. (So pathetic.)
And it should be an absolute cinch, because it's a gas grill and we even have a line that goes directly from the grill to a tank underneath the deck, so it's not like we constantly need to get it refilled. But something about flipping the gas switch and having to light that thing freaks me out, so much so that I've never actually cooked a meal on it.
I probably should have my husband show me how to do it one of these days -- or maybe we should think about buying a grill that's a little bit more user friendly for fire-fearing moms like me.
And out of all of the grills on the market that women shouldn't be afraid to cook on, the George Foreman GGR50B Indoor/Outdoor Grill is definitely at the top of the list. We had one when we first got married, and I honestly don't know why we felt the urge to upgrade to something fancier.
The Foreman is perfect, because all you have to do is plug it in, put your meat on, and watch it sizzle. And since you can use it inside or outside, you can enjoy your favorite foods even if Mother Nature isn't cooperating.
Here are a few other grills that are also easy to use, even for the barbecue challenged.
Char-Broil Quantum Infrared Urban Gas Grill -- This one is perfect if you don't have a huge outdoor space for your grill, plus it only has two knobs, taking the guesswork out of how to turn it on.
Coleman 9949-750 Road Trip Grill LXE -- This baby is portable, and it has an electronic ignition switch. (What's easier than that?)
Cuisinart CGG-180T Petit Gourmet Portable Tabletop Gas Grill -- Yet another easy-peasy model for gals who don't want to mess with charcoal and prefer to use something small. This one folds right up, making picnics & tailgating a breeze.
Char-Broil Patio Bistro Infrared Electric Grill -- Want the look of a gas grill without all of the fuss? This model is perfect. Plug it in, and get your barbecue on.
Do you cook on the grill, or leave burgers & dogs up to your husband?
