I would love to spruce up our yard... new plants, patio cushions, and outdoor lighting would make our little yard feel so inviting this summer.
It would help my family and I to finish our home!! We were blessed to purchase a older home on a Short Sale, but it needs lots of work. We have made most of the major repairs but would love to have a pretty home too! Thank you!
GRILL!!! My old one died and i now have no way to cook chicken, steak, burgers, hotdogs, etc. You NEED a grill in Texas!!
I would replace the windows in my children's bedrooms that are currently sealed shut. Their bedrooms are on the second floor and are currently inoperable. A neighbor's house just burned down and they barely had time to make it out. We did not know the windows were sealed shut until after we bought the house.
First, I would revive my husband. Because he would faint if I waved a $500 Lowe's gift card in front of him.
Then we would commence debate about whether to use it to help paint the outside of the house, or buy things for the downstairs bathroom we need to finish. :-)
I would use the gift card to help purchase a new washer and dryer (my mom has our old ones as hers broke down - we use the ones at her house) then to help by materials to make a play area for my daughter.
Backyard patio and garden! Railing on our deck, new patio lights and add on to the raised garden we started last year.
During a flood, the city drainage pipes that run through our yard collapsed. A sink hole formed in our backyard and our doggie snapped his leg in half by falling in it, and I'm constantly hovering over my children to keep them away from that hole for fear that they too could become severely injured. I would LOVE to be able to fill that sink hole (since the city won't do their part). And for anything left over...a nice big soaking tub. Ahhhhhh
I would get new countertops for my kitchen!
