Odd Couple Has So Many Cabbage Patch Dolls, They Need Their Own House (VIDEO)

cabbage patch kidWow. I've heard of people loving their collectibles before, but nothing quite measures up to the obsession that one couple has over their beloved Cabbage Patch Kid dolls. The husband and wife, named Joe and Pat, originally appeared on My Crazy Obsession on TLC and then were featured on Anderson Cooper to talk about their dolls -- but don't ever let them hear you call them that. They think of the Cabbage Patch kids as actual kids, and judging from the posh pad that these "kids" live in, it's obvious that they are the most important members of the family.

You see -- Joe and Pat live in a 1,000-square-foot trailer, while the dolls have the privilege of shacking up in a 6,000-square-foot building next door that is climate controlled. OMG. Have you ever heard of someone sacrificing their own living space to accommodate a bunch of dolls? I didn't think so. This really takes the term "dollhouse" to an entirely different level!

Supposedly as their collection of dolls grew, the couple realized that they needed a space big enough to house their growing "family", so they purchased a 3,000-square-foot building and plopped a mobile home down right next to it so that they could live adjacent to the dolls.
