It's always adorable when household pets interact with each other and get along, isn't it? Something about seeing dogs and cats cuddle or play together always manages to put a smile on our faces and make us do the whole, "Aww, isn't that sweet?" bit. And let's face it, we all need a bit more of those moments in our lives to lighten things up now and then!

But a recent bonding session between two family pets is definitely not what would probably pop into your mind when you think about a likely duo as far as animals go!

Check out this adorable video of a yellow lab being fed what looks like macaroni noodles or spaghetti -- by none other than a tiny little cockatoo!

How funny is it that the bird is totally taking on a caregiver role -- and that the dog is delicately grabbing the noodles out of its beak instead of trying to devour him instead?

I'd love to know just how in the heck this whole scenario came about, because my guess is that it's something that happened spontaneously and wasn't taught. I mean -- you can teach a dog new tricks, but I'm not so sure about a bird!

These two cuties may be unlikely pals, but it sure looks like they've got a lasting friendship going on!
