I don't know about you, but I am starting to get some serious spring fever. We may have several weeks of winter left, but that hasn't stopped me from scouting out ways to welcome the sunshine. Here are five easy things you can do to encourage an early spring at your house.
Spring fever tip #1: Now is a lovely time to force some flowering bulbs like pristine paperwhites. These flowers bloom quickly and will last long enough to give you that extra boost until things start blossoming again outside. Buy a kit, or try this tutorial.

Spring fever tip #2: Add some life to your walls without painting. Hang a come-hither-spring print like this one from Katie Daisy.

Spring fever tip #3: Switch out your duvet for something a bit lighter and brighter like the one pictured here, designed by Dwell Studio. I have a few different duvet covers I rotate for this very purpose.

Spring fever tip #4: Accent pillows are the home decor world's easiest transformation tool. Throw brightly patterned pillows onto your sofa or chairs and you will be amazed at how different your space looks in an instant. I like these hand-block-printed options from West Elm.

Spring fever tip #5: Add something fresh or colorful wherever you can. Lay down a new table runner, buy a happy little tea kettle, maybe treat yourself to some gorgeous new dishtowels.
Tell me. What are other easy things you do to "spring up" your space?

I've already started spring cleaning. Organizing by putting away the fall & winter heavy stuff. I know allot probably live where it snows. I've rearrange & change the living room. Did that 2 my g- son room too. By cleaning & organizing first, it's easier 2 decide what look you are trying too get.. Next I'm going to attrack the bathroom, by putting up some bright fresh colorful towels. A little plant that hangs & a couple of new pictures on the wall. All I have left, is there's a closed in patio, It's in need of a good cleaning & rearraanging. New cover for the patio set. Get the fish tank up & running w/ new fish to watch. After all that is finish I've got to get the flowers beds, garden ready for my small group of children, that come to learn how to grow flower, plants & vegetables. It's a small business I started a few years ago. I enjoy giving lessons to anyone, who is interested on learn how to grow.
decluttering, take down winter stuff and bring out the spring patterns etc
