Elin Nordegren's home before the wrecking ball hit.I think we can all agree that Tiger Woods' ex-wife Elin Nordegren isn't your everyday divorcee. And that's why I guess we shouldn't be surprised that there's still major fallout from her brutal, public split with the pro-golfer-slash-serial cheater. Elin seems to be taking pent-up aggression out on a house -- specifically, a $12 million six-bedroom mansion on the beach in North Palm Beach, Florida. She only bought it last March, but she's gone and knocked it down with plans to rebuild a TOTALLY DIFFERENT home on the property. TMZ says Nordegren has hired a high-priced architect, and every single worker is required to sign a confidentiality agreement.
Word is she didn't think the home was "modern" enough, but others speculate she's just doing it because she's so loaded, she can. I say there's more to the story than that.
See, Elin bought the 9,000-square-foot mansion right after she struck a $100 million divorce settlement with Tiger. Given that kind of timing, I wouldn't be surprised if the decision to buy the home was impulsive. Maybe it wasn't really what she was looking for, but it was there, and she had the money and just wanted to move the hell on from anything that reminded her of her messed-up marriage, so she bought it and moved in. Now, she's probably realized that it still reminds her of that unhappy time in her life, and so she's taken a wrecking ball to the house.
Yeah, it definitely seems a bit wasteful, but I can understand why someone wouldn't want to live in a home that they associated with bad memories. I've heard of people selling their homes after a family member died there or they went through a particularly tough divorce while living there, you know? We can't necessarily say that that's what happened here, but no matter -- I'm sure Elin has her reasons. She also has plenty of money that she deserves after going through what Tiger put her through. So if the woman wants to go around knocking down and rebuilding mansions, meh, it's nobody's business but hers.
What do you think about Elin's "homewrecking"?

Your title is very "National Enquirer" and seems a little low.
and i thought i liked her, I REALLY DO NOT NOW!
I can't understand this why buy it then wreck it down?
I can see why she would want to do that .. I do not have much of anything that I had when Hubby was alive.. do not associate anything with pain
