It's so hard for me to commit to one style of Christmas decor because I know the next year, there will be something new that catches my eye. That's probably why our ornament collection is a random mix, from traditional to eclectic. Instead of fully investing in one style, I like the idea of buying inexpensive clear glass bulbs and customizing them to your mood.
Feeling glam? Try these pretty gold ones made by Jennie by using washi tape and tinsel. See four more perfectly festive ideas below.
Keighley made these pretty painted bulbs by simply swirling around acrylic paint and letting them dry. I love the colors she chose.

Ornaments aren't just for the tree. Melanie made this ornament chandelier with clear glass bulbs filled with feathers, tinsel, and glitter.

Keep the tissue paper out from wrapping gifts and add bits of it to ornaments for this decoupage look.

Or you could make your own mini winter scene. A cute sledding hill perhaps? Each one is like a mini diorama.
What style of Christmas decorations are you going with this year? Would any of these ornaments fit it?

love all the ideas!
there are some nice ones there
My style is a mish-mash of homemade and bought on vacations ornaments. I do like the idea of swirling paint around inside them, I've also seen glitter added to the paint.
I really like the mini scenes, ornaments!
I love the last 2 I wish I was talented enough to make these.
I love the one with the branch and bird inside. :)
Those are some really cool ideas. I love the idea of the tinsel inside of the clear bulb. I wonder I can find some good tinsel to try this out this year for our tree.
