His & Hers Chairs a la Bella & EdwardHow many of you Twilight Saga fans read the books and then promptly fantasized about moving into the Cullen family's modern home set in the deep green forest? Well, so did two homeowners Whitney and Robert, and HGTV's Color Splash designer David Bromstad totally made a Twilight-inspired makeover happen for the Twi-hard couple for an upcoming episode.
Trust me, I watched a sneak peek and this makeover project will leave you drooling for a room makeover of your own. Bromstad's home design ideas capture both the rustic and whimsical fantasy of the feverishly popular movie and book franchises. Plus, one of our favorite vampires pops in at the unveiling!
Check out this amazing The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn, Part 1 home makeover.
David Bromstad and his Color Splash design team did a seriously cool makeover on Whitney and Robert's first floor, which includes a very open living room, dining room, and family room. Inspired by the natural forest scenery in The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn, Part 1, David mixed organic and modern aesthetics and added an unbelievable custom log wall installation (hello, forest!), a moss-flocked mirror, a dramatic waterfall-inspired dramatic glass chandelier, 35 faux animal heads, and much more. Let's take a look.
Family roomCheck out the amazing installation above the TV -- 35 faux unicorn, deer, and bull heads only a Cullen could love. Also love the gray stripes behind the sheers. Feels like moving water. The hints of mossy green in this room are perfect too.
Living roomThis log slice wall installation -- 450 square feet of one-inch log slices!!! -- completely blows my mind. Talk about beautiful, textural, organic decor. David also added a decorative mantel sans fire (no need in Miami, Florida!) and the green apple painting. You can't see it very well here, but there are some gorgeous stumps under that piece of glass, making for a stunning and natural coffee table.

These throne-like chairs with nailhead trimming are totally vampire-esque. Perfect for Bella and Edward fans. Especially atop that silver shag rug. Yes, silver!

Lots more silver and mirrored accents to invoke water and the sparkle of Edward's skin in the sun.
This Color Splash makeover show premieres on HGTV Saturday, November 5 at 9 p.m. ET/PT and encores Saturday, November 12 at 6 p.m. ET/PT. Don't miss it.
What do you think? Would you like a Twilight-inspired makeover on your home?

How Silly!!! I live in a pine wood forest and in a large house...not anything you want to go and buy and I love Twilight!
Overall, -_- I think that was one of the most gauche set-ups I've ever seen. Especially the throne chairs. I liked the log-slice walls, but that was about it. But hey, to each their own. If they like it, then that's all that matters.
I do not like the house much. The chairs to me, do not look inviting and the logs seem a bit over done. Maybe one wall would look good to me but; I don't know, just a bit much all over the place. Also no a fan of the faux heads. Sorry. But I do love David Bromstad! I think he normally does such great work.
Edward and Bella? No. Emmitt and Rosalie.. yes.
Zyva said it. If I was going to do a Twilight theme I would mimic the cottage. That house is very... Rosalie and Emmett. It's very white like the Cullen family home though. And if that was what they was going for they nailed it. But like I said, I would have mimicked (sp?) the cottage.
I dont like it and it doesnt make me think of Twilight honestly.
The Cullen house is styled so much better than this eyesore. This makeover looks NOTHING like the Cullen home either in the movies or in the books. I wouldn't want this makeover, no way. It's not authentic.
