The Fourth of July festivities are almost here! The best thing about this holiday is how easily and CHEAPLY you can decorate for it. It doesn't take much dough to put together a perfectly patriotic party.
Of course, it's always great to look around and see what you already have on hand -- in the good old red, white, and blue. That little red wagon can make a great drink cart. Or plant a bunch of red flowers in that old blue wheel barrel. If you own an American flag, you're on your way already.
Here are several other great ideas for cheap, easy-to-find party decorations for the Fourth of July.

Red, White & Blue Fabric Mini Round Lanterns ($12.99 for 10 Lights) at Target
Love these festive hanging lanterns. Small addition. Big impact.

4th of July Printed Tableloth ($2) at Target
You can find patriotic tablecloths for low prices in most drugstores or superstores like Target or Walmart. Dollar stores usually stock all the colors and you can get a mix of red, white, and blue table covers if you have several tables.

Even hardware stores often stock seasonal decor like these cute tiki torches. Check yours!

SOFIA Wide Stripe, Red& White Fabric ($7.99/yard) at IKEA
If you're crafty, there are numerous things you can do with a few yards of cute red and white striped material. If you're not, simply toss it across your table, drape it around the food table, or hang a few sheets to make an adorable backdrop for Fourth of July party photos.

Mason Jars ($10.49 for 12 jars) at Ace Hardware
Mason jars are super inexpensive and reusable in a gazillion ways. To use them on the Fourth, fill them with these DIY Patriotic Pinwheels (FREE printable PDF), add candles to line your patio, or fill them with red flowers and group them into a centerpiece. You can find mason or canning jars at most grocery and hardware stores.

Butcher Paper ($11.66) at WEBstaurant Store
Butcher paper comes in nice long rolls that can last you through several parties. Use the paper to cover your picnic table and fill your mason jars with red and blue colored pencils so everyone can help decorate the table covering. You can find them at most craft or restaurant supply stores.
