While doors are an essential part of every house, they're often overlooked. I like the idea of bringing attention to them with a splash of color instead of simply letting them blend in with the wall.
These yellow double doors are pretty bold, but you could do something a little more subdued and still add some fun to your place. See examples of both bold and conservative-but-stylish choices below.

Red seems to be a popular hue for front doors. I love how in this home they have both blue and red doors in the entryway. What a great welcoming.

While gray is a safer choice, it's classically chic and it still makes a statement in this room.

Here's a more quiet use of yellow with a shabby chic feel. So pretty, right? I love the weathered door bottoms.

Instead of choosing a bright color, how about accentuating with black and white stripes?

This flashy, neon green may be the boldest choice, but I think it works well with the lack of color in the rest of the room.

Last but not least, choosing a happy shade of teal would make any home feel a little more like a beachside cottage.
What do you think? Would you ever go as bold as neon green? Or do you prefer sticking with something a little more subdued?

I wouldnt choose neon green although I do like the idea
I'm more of a subdued person, I guess. Not into neon or really bold colors for doors...
No, im not into bold colors for doors
I have one large red wall, that's bold enough for me.
I'll try anything
I love bright doors.
I love this! I love the teal and pale, weathered yellow doors. And I actually really like the first, bold yellow doors. Our front door is red, and it's gorgeous and I love it.
Neat!
