Do you dread the task of carving Jack o' Lanterns with the family? Do your kids make you scoop out all the sticky mess, spend three minutes carving, and leave the rest for you to cut out?
Well, maybe this is the year you "just say no" to carved pumpkins. Forget the scary (rotting) Jack o' Lantern this year. There are lots of fun ways to decorate pumpkins that don't require carving.
Here are several fresh ideas for decorating with pumpkins without the mess:
- Modern-looking option with decorative nails
- Stenciled and spray painted sweetie
- Delicately painted white pumpkin
- Spiffy and wrapped in sequins
- Fantastic glittered pumpkins

They're so pretty! Thanks for sharing the ideas!
Great ideas.
Wow. The sequins down the seams of the pumpkin look dressed up but still a little Halloween-creepy. There's no way I'm carving when I can use a glue gun.
Kristen
very clever ideas thanks for sharing.
Thanks for sharing these idea. You saved me alot of mess this year.
Thanks for some great ideas! Wow, I'm gonna try some of these. You can also purchase some vinyl embellishment faces from Uppercase Living and simply rub those on your pumpkins. Yes, they stick! I've tried them on real pumpkins and the fake ones from Michaels. Very quick and easy project. I'll try and get a photo to you this week.
So glad you're all enjoying these no-carve pumpkin tips. Can't wait to see a picture of the vinyl embellishments, tealadyd.
