Sheryl Crow Sells Home in a Modern Way [Photos!]

by Brittny Drye on November 7, 2010 at 2:00 PM

Sheryl Crow homeBecause she's hasn't had much luck selling her College Grove, TN farm, Grammy-award winner Sheryl Crow (and her web-savvy real estate agent) are breaking out the big show.

Forget fliers, open houses, or even a listing with the tagline that it's her property (most stars prefer to keep their names out of real estate listings), they have created an entire website devoted to the auctioning off of this home.

At SherylCrowAuction.com, you can view photos (there's seriously like a hundred of them), videos (yes, they have even created two YouTube videos), and all of the deets on the 150-acre farm. And heck, if you so choose, you can even make a bid (the current bid has been stuck at $1,000,000 since I first looked at it, which was about a week ago). The bidding ends on November 23rd.

Here are a few photos of Sheryl Crow's home, (but if you wish to view every angle, trust me, the website does provide):

An elegant and very masculine living room. Love the coffered ceiling!

The fine dining room -- I can only imagine the amazing people that she's entertained in this room!

Wow! I love the idea of using a mirror as a headboard.

Freestanding tub? Yes, please! And check out that over-sized clock on the wall. Gorgeous!

And check out the six-minute video covering the beautiful rolling hills of Middle Tennessee that her home rest upon and an in-depth tour of her home.

Like I said, she's pulling out all the stops, but I guess in this buying market, you kinda have to. Maybe this is an upcoming trend in real estate?

What do you think of Sheryl Crow's home? How about the selling approach that she's taking?

It's really manly.  I'm surprised it's owned by a single woman, to be honest.

I think that bedroom is bigger than my entire house!  LOL  It's a beautiful home and I think when it comes to selling in this market you got to do whatever it takes to sell!

I think it's genius!  Minus the cost of hosting your own website (and the price to have the site built) this will definitely be a wave of the future!  I know I don't even like to buy a pair of shoes without knowing the complete in's and out's of them - a house is 100x more important & this makes it that much easier for her potential buyers.  Good for her!

It is about 20 minutes from my house. I would love it if i had my entire extended family living with me! :)
