Extreme Makeover always seems to make me tear up (darn you, Ty Pennington!), and last night's episode was true to boot. Ty, along with some of the crew from Dancing With the Stars (Derek Hough! Mark Ballas! Chelsie Hightower!), rode that big ol' bus to Neenah, Wisconsin where teacher Rhex Arboleda resides.
But the great thing about Rex is that he's not only a teacher, he's the genius behind an amazing dance-fitness program called Move to the Groove, which encourages his students to exercise to prevent childhood obesity.
And as always, Ty and his team created an unbelievable new home for Rhex, his wife, and five children.
Super colorful! And of course, as with all Extreme projects, the surprise didn't stop with just the amazing makeover. The Kimberly-Clark company gave the Move to the Groove founder a year’s supply of their products and also provided a $100,000 college fund for the kids.
Doesn't that just make you feel warm and fuzzy inside?
Have you heard of Move to the Groove? What'd you think of this episode?
