Perhaps with all of those extra bucks I'm sure he's making with his hit movie The Social Network, Justin Timberlake has recently put his NYC loft on the market and moving on in the real estate world by purchasing a penthouse in one of NYC's most coveted buildings, the SoHo Mews.
The Views: His former apartment had views spanning the Hudson River, while his new digs have 10' windows looking out at the Empire State Building. Both are gorgeous, but if you've ever seen the Empire State Building at night, you probably agree with me when I say that trumps looking out at Jersey.

The Price for the Space: He bought the first 3-bedroom, 3,000-square-foot loft two years ago for $4.7 million, and he has put it on the market for $5.25 million. His bought his new 3-bedroom, 2,598-square-foot penthouse for $7.65. Sounds like he received more bang for his buck with the old one, however, it only had a part-time doorman, which privacy is worth paying extra for if you're a celebrity.
Outdoor Area: The SoHo Mews buildings are made up of two buildings, with a infamous garden connecting the two. Outdoor areas in NYC are rare, so that in itself makes it a winner. Not to mention, he also has a private wrap-around terrace.
Kitchen Bells & Whistles: For most people, kitchens can make or break a buying decision.. His former kitchen (below, left) has restaurant-quality appliances by Wolf, Sub-Zero, and Miele with an eat-in kitchen. While the Soho Mews' Gwathmey Siegel-designed kitchen (below, right) boasts Valcucine cabinetry of striated elm and smoked glass, Jet Mist granite, Sub-Zero refrigerator and wine storage, Miele ovens and dishwasher, Gaggenau cooktop and fully-vented hood. While the wine storage, striated elm and smoked glass sound nice, the loft has a much more open floorplan. And for anyone that cooks, you know how important space in a kitchen is.
Bathroom: This area is probably lower on a men's real estate checklist than for a woman's. That being said, I think girlfriend Jessica Biel had a huge say in the SoHo condo decision (below, right). Both bathrooms are around the same size, but what gal wouldn't love a free-standing tub to soak in while looking out at a gorgeous view? Just hope they put up thick curtains.
Bedroom: It appears that there was more magic happening in Justin's old apartment (below, left) than his new one -- exposed brick, arched windows, and more space -- yes, please.
Which one of Justin Timberlake's apartments do you like better? His old or new one?
