This year, don't limit your Halloween celebration to gutting a pumpkin, dressing up in costume, and eating too much candy. Just because ghosts and goblins aren't up to speed on their tech savvy-ness doesn't mean you can't be.
Here are six Halloween applications to download to get you into the spirit.
Halloween Countdown (free): If you're like me, you start counting down the days till Halloween, oh, during summer (39 days!). Watch the skull grow bigger, and bigger, as All-Hallows-Eve approaches.
Halloween Town Monster Maker (99 cents): Got a friend who's a real bitch, er, I mean witch? Or an ex who you'd like to see dead? Illustrate it on this app! Take photos and give your victims a full monster makeover. Seriously, how creepy is that dude?
True Ghost Stories (99 cents): It's long been debated if ghosts really exist amongst us, but the paranormal stories that are updated daily on this app will make a believer out of you. And if not, it's still fun to scare your friends.
Halloween Costume Generator (99 cents): Not sure what you want to be for Halloween? Just use the filters (Gender/Occasion/Mood) to generate costume ideas. They range from the classics to characters that you've never even thought of, plus links to Google when you find one that you like.
iHalloween (free): Scare your kids, spook a cubicle neighbor, or creep our your friends while you tell the True Ghost Stories from the app above. This app has a ton of sounds and music for the perfect Halloween soundtrack.
Sex Offender Locator (free): This app doesn't have any scary music, but it is necessary if you have kids. Make sure you know which houses to avoid while trick-or-treating and after.
Have you downloaded any Halloween applications? If so, which ones?
