Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt, along with their horde of 173 children, better be practicing their Italian ... they just added another mega mansion to their real estate portfolio, this time in Italy.
And it's magnifico!
To go along with their French chateau, New Orleans mansion, 5-acre Los Angeles compound, Malibu home, and ocean-front property close to the Cambodian jungle, they reportedly just dropped $40 million on this Italian villa. It's like they just buy a house in whatever country they travel to.
The U-shaped mansion, guarded by an iron gate and two stone lions, wraps around a garden filled with old statues peeking out from around the bushes. Inside, it boasts a whopping 18,000 square feet that includes 15 bedrooms, 7 bathrooms, two fit-for-royalty receptions rooms, coffered ceilings, and antique tile flooring. The walls are covered in frescoes that date back to the seventeenth century. The property also holds two swimming pools, waterfalls, a cinema, stables, and a friggin' vineyard (wow!). Brangelina, will you please adopt me?
There are some speculations on whether they actually bought the home or are just leasing it, but at this point, does it even matter? If they weren't such good-doers, I'd give them a hard time about spending all this money on real estate, but their constant trips to help starving children forces me to keep my mouth shut.
After everything that they do, I think they can buy whatever the heck they want.
What do you think about their most recent purchase?
