The Perfect Family Home ... And It's for Sale!

Michelle and Devon live with their two beautiful daughters in El Paso, Texas. Last year, they bought a wonderful home "with potential" and they've spent every bit of their spare time fixing it up. Such hard workers! They have great taste and did an excellent job of updating the spaces while still keeping the personality of the retro house.

Of course, just as they finished making the house perfect, their work situation changed and now they're headed to a whole new state. Isn't that the way it goes? They'll put their house up for sale soon. I'm jealous of the lucky family that gets to move in and enjoy all the improvements and renovations.

I've posted lots of great photos for you to enjoy ...

Such an inviting living room. The yellow fabric on that chair is fantastic.

The tile in the entryway adds so much personality and texture. Neat! And I love the view of the bird painting you get through the doorway into the dining area.

Sweet bedrooms for their girls. Those Jenny Lind beds are perfect.

The kitchen is so clean and modern! It looks like an easy place to work. Did you see the giant chalkboard wall at the far end?

Good-looking pantry and storage areas. The red lockers add a fun pop of color!

I think it's great that there are several eating areas. A dining table, bar stools at the counter, and a breakfast round. The flexibility is charming.

The light from the windows in the long breakfast nook/work space is heavenly. It's a practical, usable, and good-looking space.

This family room off of the kitchen looks so comfy. I like the silhouette artwork above the fireplace.

The retro fixtures in this bathroom are amazing!

I'll bet the girls enjoy such a wide open backyard with plenty of space for running around.

A big thank you to Michelle and Devon for sharing their home with us. I'm inspired by the uncluttered, open spaces, by the interesting art collection, and by all the bright colors! Best of luck on your upcoming move -- we can't wait to see your next home tour. : )
