Though the lucky guests who were invited to Chelsea Clinton's wedding still may not know exactly where the nuptials will take place (it's all being kept very hush-hush for security reasons ... guests are being told where to go as late as travel time allows), the venue that's been rumored is the Beaux-Arts mansion in Rhineback, New York, called Astor Courts.
Assuming that the numerous sources reporting this are correct, let's take a look at the site where Chelsea and her fiance Marc Mezvinsky will be exchanging vows.
The facade's main feature is the huge columns looking out over the property's 50 acres of land. The checkered marble flooring of the entryway is nothing short of majestic.
Though I'm sure guests won't be playing tennis in their tuxedos, Astor Courts is reportedly home to the first indoor American residential swimming pool (below). It also houses an indoor tennis court (seen above), a squash court, and library. It also used to house a second squash court, bowling alley, and shooting range, but those have since seen renovations.
Not sure if this bathroom is in conjunction with the bridal suite, but I can definitely picture Chelsea standing in her gorgeous Vera Wang wedding dress, as her mother Hillary puts on any final touches to her makeup and hair.
Perhaps they'll have a famous pianist play some tunes as family and friends of the bride and groom dance the night away.
And as the night comes to an end, the happy couple will drive away on the tree-lined gravel road as their loved ones beckon them goodbye. I can picture them driving away in a classic, something like a 1955 Aston Martin.
What do you think of this venue? Would you want to have your wedding here?
