Living Room of Kristin Cavallari from 'The Hills': Get the Look for Less

Brittny Drye

Kristin Cavallari's living roomDuring last night's season finale of The Hills, as Kristin Cavallari was longingly glancing back into her living room before leaving for Europe (but please don't get me started on the ending), I realized how chic her decor was. How have I not noticed that before? Oh, because usually it plays the background to the girls plotting to rid Speidi from their lives or Kristin getting shot down by Brody, that's why. Want to get a look like hers? Check out some cheaper options I found, after the jump.

Let's start with the couch, the focal piece in the room. The brown tufted leather is slightly masculine, but the fun throw pillows keep it from looking like a gentleman's cigar room. Sofas are usually investment pieces, and I have no doubt that she put down a couple grand for that one, but here's a more affordable option .

JCPenney; $899

Kristin's two wingback chairs give the room symmetry. I'm really loving this option from JCPenney, complete with nailhead trim. The zebra print cowhide cocktail ottoman pops, and gives the girls a trendy surface to set their drinks. I prefer faux hide, like this one from Z Gallerie.

If I were her, I would add a bit more color in the accessories. Just look how much that simple cerulean vase stands out, even though it's slightly hidden in the corner. I'm willing to bet you can find a similar one at your local flea market, but if not, this jewel tone one from JCPenney is at a somewhat decent price.

JCPenney; $70

Even if you don't think the decor is nice, you're bound to fall in love with the house itself. Click here to check out pictures of her gorgeous L.A. home that didn't get nearly enough airtime on The Hills, in my opinion.

Do you like Kristin Cavallari's living room decor? What is it that you like or don't like about it?
