Photo from Dollar Store CraftsI saw this beaded chandelier at a new blog that I (thankfully!) stumbled upon the other day: Dollar Store Crafts. This site is chock-full of DIY ideas you can assemble with dollar store materials.
This entire chandelier project cost a measly $9. That's less than I spent on two magazines today. Even though affordable chandeliers aren't impossible to find, it's rare to find them this inexpensive! Those supplies included: hanging wire basket, six packages of Mardi Gras-style beads, floral wire, spray paint, wire cutters, and a hot glue gun.
The steps for this chandelier look surprisingly simple, and you can display this pretty piece outside or in. I think it'd be really cute in a little girl's nursery or an outdoor entertaining space.

Excellent idea & I also love the thriftiness!
Never knew the Dollar Store had a craft web site.
Not a huge fan of the look myself but I LOVE the simplicity of it AND the price- can't beat that!
Thanks so much for linking to my chandelier! Glad you like it, and my site! xoxo
Sorry, but that's just not attractive. Sometimes, cheap looks cheap.
