Dumpster to Delight: 3 Repurposed DIY Inspirations

Good creative reuse and interesting projects made from salvaged materials can be so inspiring. Here are three repurposed DIY projects that wowed me with wonderful lately.

Designers Nora Korn and Christoph Kohler took on a three-month dumpster-diving project that turned into lots of recycled treasures. Shown above, they took some found reading lamps and added potting soil, a cactus, and a Gerber daisy to make these fun wall-mounted flower pots, via Curbly.

Michelle de la Vega found this old clawfoot bathtub in a salvage yard, but its feet were rusted, so she and her father built a wooden cradle to hold it up. I love this revised and modern spin on the vintage-style tub. (Read more about de la Vega's garage renovation.)

Perhaps this pretty old dresser was found without a drawer in a back alley. A coat of paint and an inventive use of the open space make it fabulous again (via {this is glamorus}).
