You can stow a water bottle, a picnic, farmers' market goodies, groceries, flowers, diapers and wipes, your miniature chihuahua (or tiny horse), your camera, or whatever you might need during your next ride around town or the countryside.

I'd love to weave one like this DIY Woven Vine Bike Basket from Stephanie at 3191, but until I come across some English ivy, I'm eyeballing all the adorable ones on the market.
