If spring cleaning is wearing you out, time to step outside the house for a minute and put your talents to even better use.

Hey, if those super-tall basketball players in the NBA can lean down from their 7 foot highness to pluck litter, we can all do a little bit of out-of-the-house cleaning for April, right?

The NBA finished up its Green Week on Friday, which included a number of trash pick ups in local communities in addition to wearing headbands, wristbands, and socks made from 45 percent organic cotton during games.

There's nothing I love more than seeing celebrities get their hands dirty, and plucking trash can get pretty gross. Which is why I have to admit I don't do it often.

But with my daughter now old enough to really learn from example, I'm making an April resolution to get off my butt and go do some litterpluck this month. Somehow I think it will be even more satisfying than the in-the-house spring cleaning.

How about you? Are you inspired to get out and clean?
