iPhone May Become Verizon "Friendly"

The iPhone can be purchased at Apple.com

I need an iPhone. I want an iPhone. I deserve an iPhone. I use Verizon. I can't have an iPhone. But wait ... there is hope on the horizon. Apple may come out with a Verizon friendly iPhone. Or it could all be just rumor (damn you Mashable for bursting my iPhone/Verizon bubble). But man — an iPhone would make my life so much easier, plus — they look like so much fun!

You see, I am a Mac user. Have been for the last 15 years. I love Mac. And you know what they say, "Once you go Mac ..." Well, you know. I can't even begin to go into the issues I've had trying to sync contact and calendar info from my Mac to my Blackberry Curve, and then back again. I have seriously lost days of my life online, and on the phone, with various support people trying to figure this shi* out!

So if this is so important to me, you ask, why not just buy an iPhone? Here is my issue: I like Verizon; I rarely lose calls and now I can even talk through the Midtown Tunnel. That's no small feat. That tunnel goes under water! Plus, four years ago I convinced three family members to switch to Verizon so that I could talk to them with my unlimited Verizon-to-Verizon minutes. Basically, I just don't want to switch to AT&T, and to get the iPhone now, I would need to do that.

Come on Apple — stop playing with my emotions! Until it's "official" I will remain cautiously optimistic that one day, hopefully one day soon, I will be able to buy fun apps for my new Verizon iPhone.
