Need to relax but can't afford a day at the spa? I love Breathe Magazine's idea for a Home Day Spa. You set aside a day of spa activities, all enjoyed within the (inexpensive) comfort of your own home. Here are a few suggestions:
- Yoga.
- Hot bath.
- DIY manicure and pedicure.
- Clean eating.
Check out Breathe Magazine for even more suggestions of how to schedule a home day spa.
If I were planning a home spa, I would also include:
- Homemade smoothies.
- DIY chocolate facial.
- Drinking lots of water with cucumber slices (I love when spas do this!) or tea.
- Lots of relaxing—but no TV!
- Scented candles.
- Back massage (from my husband, although this may be pushing it).
What I am missing? What would you include in your Home Day Spa?

Back massage (from my husband, although this may be pushing it).....LOL that's WHY my hubby sends me to the SPA so he doesn't have to give me a massage!
lol - oh yes. I got my hair cut & colored, my nails done, and a tan all for under $40. I went to Walgreens, got the stuff, and did it all myself. :-)
