And to make sure our diet is on track, she also shares a healthy eating tip to focus on for the week.
Here is this week's tip:
Get the energy of an Olympian and get the most out of your workout by eating a snack rich in complete carbohydrates and proteins within two hours before you start your sweat session. This will ensure that you have the needed fuel to make it through, and you can really push yourself to get the most of it! Great pre-workout snacks include:
- Wheat toast with all natural peanut butter.
- Tuna fish on corn cake.
- Protein shake with strawberries and other fruit.
- 1/2 banana with 1 tablespoon almond butter.
