After having twins and a baby in three years, I've dreamed of getting a tummy tuck. But it's way too expensive and totally scary. I was happy to read in The New York Times that one plastic surgeon, Dr. Gerald Pitman, is saying diet and exercise are better than going under the knife.
I got interested in the topic again after I reading a CafeMom twin mommy's post asking about tummy tucks in Beauty & Style questions. After reading that it's quite painful, I was even more relieved to see the plastic surgeon's simple advice:
- resistance training
- aerobic exercise
- eight hours of sleep
- sensible diet
I can do these things. I think.
Have you ever considered a tummy tuck?
