(SPOILER alert! But not until after the jump.) I had to rehydrate last night after all the tears I shed about you-know-who's departure on The Biggest Loser...but first a quick recap: The Blue Team won the first challenge and got to determine which contestants would face-off against each other in the weigh-in. Then, the Black Team won a baseball challenge, giving them a 2-pound advantage in the weigh-in.
So why was I so sad?
Because I adore Abby and wasn't ready for her to go home yet. I started crying when she was talking about her family loss with Jillian, and then by the time she sacrificed herself to her team at the end, I lost it! After watching her update, it seems like it was OK for her to leave when she did—she has lost so much weight and is now a motivational speaker. I am really inspired by Abby, not only by her example of being healthy but also in terms of overcoming challenges and living life to the fullest.
Some of my other thoughts about the episode:
- Is it just me, or are the women on the Blue Team starting to bug? They are just too cocky and trashy-talky to me.
- I continue to luuuuve Rudy. Congrats to him for breaking Dane's record and losing 100 pounds in 7 weeks! Go, Rudy!
- What is going on with Daniel? Why can't he seem to lose any weight?
What did you think of last night's episode?
