Gwyneth gets all goopy.
I've seen her body lately, so I'll listen to what she has to say. She looks like that even after eating her way through Spain with Mario Batali. Wow.
So here are Gwyneth's top get-fit tips from Goop:
- Sleep. You need eight hours or more each night. If you have trouble sleeping try natural products like valerian, chamomile tea, tryptophan amino acids, and vitamins B6 and magnesium.
- Avoid white foods. After you've slept more for two weeks, stop eating foods made with sugar, white flour and milk. Try cutting down on flour for two weeks, then dairy in two more, then sugar. Let your body get used to your new diet.
- Exercise regularly. "I know you want to, but you don't have the energy to do it," Gwyneth writes. Start up your fitness routine after two weeks of sleeping and eating better. If you're out of shape, start with 15 minutes a day and add a minute a day for the first month. At the end of that month, you'll be ready for another exercise that's fun to you. The hardest part is the most important part: Stick with it.
In case you're wondering what Goop is, so I am. It's her new lifestyle website that looks like it's still a work in progress. I'm not sure I can use advice from a millionaire celebrity who's married to a rock star, but I'll sure love reading it.
Honestly, I love the great tips I've read from real, super-smart moms in the private group Green Organic Natural Simple Living. For example, EuroMomTX knows essential oils and KayMMIV has a master list of food storage tips.
