In front of me right now is an apple and some pieces of chocolate. I want a little snack and I have to choose.
Should I go for the healthy apple? Or indulge in some chocolate?
I choose chocolate.
Why? Because I love it so.
And my OBGYN just told me to cut back because I am having some heart palpitations. (!!!)
But yet I still chose the chocolate. What the heck is wrong with me?
I will probably eat the apple in an hour or so (I'm pregnant, so constantly snacking), and I'm going to drink three extra glasses of water to super hydrate myself, but chocolate is just such a weakness for me. I've been known to say that I've never met a chocolate chip cookie I didn't like (except for the ones I accidentally made with olive oil).
What about you? Would you choose the apple or the chocolate? When faced with healthy and not-so-healthy choices, which way do you tend to go?
