My friend sent me a link for these handmade, washable cloth tampons she found.
The woman who makes them says, "I have used these personally for most of the last year, and I can attest that they are comfortable, easy to make, easy to insert and remove, and they absorb as well as a commercial tampon."
I'm all for saving money and being eco-minded and re-using certain things, but I draw the line at tampons even if they are washable. I also worry that the fabric and the laundry detergent would give me some kind of infection. I think I'll stick with my organic cotton, applicator-free Natracare tampons.

Im sorry. Im all for "going green" and saving energy, water and gas. However there is a time when you have to draw the line. This is where the line should be drawn. I think that is the most disgusting thing I have ever seen.

i think its a good idea but i'm thinking there would have to be some sort of infection or something..... more power to those that use them and like them!
