Whole Living magazine featured a great statistic: Jumping rope for 15 minutes will burn around 125 calories, and that's more calories burned if you were to swim, bike, or play tennis for the same amount of time.

Cardio is so important for us -- why not jump some rope? To find the best jump rope for you, hold the ends of the rope in each hand and step on the middle. The rope should extend to your armpits.
