This was the question posed by rayzensun in the CafeMom Newcomers Club. Sure, we all make fun of celebrities with pulled back faces and big breasts, but who knows what the pressures of Hollywood would do to us. Famous or not, is plastic surgery good or bad? Should we just accept the way we were made or do we have a right to change whatever flaws we perceive?
According to the American Academy of Plastic Surgeons, women comprised 91 percent of cosmetic procedures in 2008. And, the top three surgical procedures among females last year were breast augmentation, liposuction, and nose reshaping.
But Caitlin10081989 replied: "I would just accept that this is the body that God has made for me...even though I didn't like a body part."
And then there were moms like punksjs who wrote: "After I was all done having children, I would get liposuction because I have always had a problem maintaining my weight no matter how hard I work out or watch what I eat."
Where do you stand on the issue? Are you pro plastic surgery or pro au natural?
