A family of four in England says they're too fat to work.
They already receive more than $30,000 per year in government benefits. But they want more.
See one of the daughters below from her tryout on a British reality TV show.
The Chawners--see their photo in the Telegraph--have a combined weight of 1,160 pounds. Philip, 53, and his wife Audrey, 57, weigh 336 pounds each. Daughter Emma, 19, weights 236, and her sister Samantha, 21, weighs 252. I recently read their story, shocked, on That's Fit.
Audrey has said she has epilepsy and asthma because of her large size, and she claims that her family's weight is genetic. Plus, they cannot afford to eat healthier.
Philip has Type 2 diabetes and a heart condition.
Emma says she's a student without time to exercise.
The family say they don't get enough money to cover the bills and put food on their table. Father Philip was quoted as saying, "It's not our fault we can't work. We deserve more."
Hmmm. If you worked at the welfare office, would you give them more money? What do you think? Are some people too fat to work?
