My husband and I keep very little from each other. Honestly, the bathroom doors are usually open, and I always clean out his jeans pockets because I do the laundry.
I do go into his wallet fishing around for money. I never have any cash because I'm too busy to go to the bank or ATM. I usually ask him first, but sometimes I forget, and he notices that his money is gone.
So I wouldn't be able to get mad at him for going into my purse. But he doesn't do it.
That's probably because I never have any money--and the contents of my purse are about as exciting as an old tube of lipstick.
Here is an interesting conversation from CafeMoms on just this topic: Would you have a problem with your significant other going into your purse? Here are a few answers:
- "I do not care, I have nothing to hide so why should I care or get mad? --lapcounter
- "I have to say I'm completely against it." --Sweetangels
What do you think? Would you be upset if he looked around in your purse or things without asking?
