A woman in Florida went cockadoodle-doo last Saturday when she ordered chicken McNuggets, paid for them, and was told that McDonald's was all out.
Of course, this was a chicken McNuggets emergency. So the woman called 911.
Latreasa Goodman, told the cops: "This is an emergency. If I would have known they didn't have McNuggets, I wouldn't have given my money. Now she wants to give me a McDouble, but I don't want one."
Apparently, according to msnbc, the cashier wouldn't refund the McNugget money, as per that store's policy, but offered many different substitutions.
The Fort Pierce Florida Police Department cited the woman a misdemeanor for misusing the 911 system.
Last month, another Florida man was arrested after calling 911 to complain about his Burger King combo meal.
I have called 911 on accident when I meant to call 411. When I asked for the address of a nearby Target store, the dispatcher was displeased. But I apologized for being such a McNugget; I avoided a misdemeanor; and I didn't do it again.
I'm thinking Latreasa Goodman should be thanking the McDonald's for not giving her those 10-piece McNuggets. Those breaded babies have 460 calories and 29 grams of fat. Eat McNuggets every day, like in Super Size Me, and a 911 call will be in order. Eating way too many unhealthy fat-laden calories can lead to high cholesterol, diabetes, high blood pressure and heart attacks.
Do you think this woman is cuckoo? Or should McDonald's have just given her the money back?

I think they should've given her a gift card so that she could eat there again. Personally I don't eat at Mc Donald's. It's most stores' policy to not give back cash anymore. They give gift cards and you know Mc Donald's has them so I don't see why they didn't just give her one. She's nuts though! I'm glad she got a ticket.
Given the fact that they sold her something and THEY ran out...they should have given her back her money. If that was me I would have had a fit too....I wouldn't have called 911, however she paid for something and it wasn't her fault that they ran out. They should have given her back her money and called it a day.
Wow, Crazy!!
They should have just given her her money back.
They should have given her the money back, but the woman herself is a bit looney. I don't understand how that can be the store's policy. If I go in and order a diet Sprite because I want to avoid both sugar and caffeine, and they don't have any left, any substitution they offer would NOT do; I'd demand my money.
I do think they should have refunded her money, since she didn't want another item they sell, but good God, who calls 911 over a damn McNugget? It's not like they told her she couldn't have anything else in place of the nuggets. Some people are so stupid, it amazes me they can function.
I think the woman is cooky for calling 911 about it but I definitely think McDonald's owed her her money. That was just wrong what they did.
she's totally nuts..what a waste of police time...its kinda funny though
hahaha even though she missused the emergency number, she has a point! She didn't get what she paid for and she wanted her money back! Nevertheless, this was hilarious!
If you pay cash for something and the store doesnt have it, give the cash back!
