Today, Oprah Winfrey is coming clean about her obvious weight gain. I'll definitely tune in at 4 p.m. EST.
She's like so many of us with body weight ups and downs. And now it sounds like she has the most popular New Year's resolution: Lose weight. Fitness and diet guru Bob Greene will be on hand to help her--and all of us in the audience who plan to join in.
She's kicking off 2009 with a goal to get her body back. She's now more than 200 pounds, so she said in this month's O Magazine. There will be a slew of fitness and diet tips today and in coming episodes.
Part of me believes her weight is none of our business. But at the same time, I'm grateful that she talks about it. She makes the rest of us feel normal for sometimes being indulgent, busy and, well, fat.
