"Fashion rules" have long hindered women from embracing the bodies they have. No horizontal stripes if you're a plus-size woman! Stay away from maxi dresses if you're short! The list goes on and on. But one woman is determined to stick it to fashion rules by being a living example -- with a powerful Instagram photo.

Body-positivity blogger and activist known as "SelfLoveClub" posted a side-by-side selfie with her natural body shape on full display -- meaning her "visible belly outline" was totally exposed.

It's a complete and total detachment from the rhetoric surrounding fashion, which insists we use fashion as a tool to hide our "flaws" rather than just doing what we want. She wrote:

"Cheers to a summer of rocking clothing that give you a visible tummy outline. Cheers to not giving a sh*t what people think about your body or the way you dress. Cheers to embracing what we've been told not to wear because it doesn't 'flatter our body type.' Cheers to living free of judgment, reservations, and inhibitions."

The photo undoubtedly resonated with women, as her comments section was flooded with thank-yous and testimonies on why they were going to make an effort to embrace their bellies:
