Stunning, right?

Melissa herself hasn't spoken publicly about her weight loss, but in November 2014, Star reported that a friend of the comedian said she's lost 45 pounds on a low-carb diet packed with protein. "She's been making small changes and seeing big results," the source noted. "It’s given her a real confidence boost."

Love that, and you can definitely see that newfound confidence! She's totally radiant!

Goes to show that you don't have to go to extremes -- fad diets, intimidating boot camps, or plastic surgery -- to achieve noticeable, healthy weight loss. The source highlighted the fact that the actress is all about taking a measured approach, explaining, "Melissa knows that fans love her big and beautiful, and she’s not obsessed with dieting. She’s looking for a happy medium."

And there's also something to be said for the reason Melissa's reportedly gotten serious about improving her wellness: "Melissa realized she wasn’t being as healthy as she could be," the source told Star. "She wants to set a good example for her kids, and she wants to be around to become a grandmother, too."

Talk about a genuine, heartfelt motivation for making healthy change! No wonder Melissa's so clearly devoted to being the happiest, healthiest version of herself.
