Even after you've gotten into the habit, motivating yourself to get up and go to the gym or go for a run can be really hard. Thankfully, there are ways to get yourself revved up ... Like checking out hotties on your morning route! Well, at least that's what 24-year-old Kelly Roberts from Brooklyn, NY found made her run a lot easier when she did the New York City half marathon this past weekend! Ha!
Roberts took Instagram selfies of herself with an unsuspecting, attractive guy every mile.
She tells Good Morning America of her inspiration to do so:
I noticed there was a really cute guy behind me. I thought, 'Oh my God, I should make a hashtag #hottguysofthenychalf.'
While running, Kelly said she would spot her target up ahead and sprint to get in front of the male runner to snap the shot. In turn, she took 13 totally hilarious pics in all, which captured men of all types as they competed alongside her. I would hope they're all cool with their "selfie" being taken by someone other than themselves! Especially because Kelly seems to be keeping up her "schtick" even as she goes on regular runs around Brooklyn!
But hey, girl's gotta do what a girl's gotta do to stay psyched about her workout, right? It's the best way to stick with it after all!
Check out some of Kelly's funniest snaps below ...
