Jenelle Evans Swears Doing This With Her Boyfriend Will Keep Them Together

Emily Abbate This Just In

Jenelle Evans and Nathan GriffithI've gotta hand it to Jenelle Evans: she's been doing a pretty great job hitting the gym while pregnant with baby #2. The Teen Mom star's posting just about as many gym selfies as all the Kardashians combined these days. The reason Jenelle's stayin' so fit this time around? Well, it seems like it's all because of boyfriend and baby daddy Nathan Griffith. Her underwear model boo is no stranger to a good sweat session, and it seems like his fit ways are totally rubbing off on Jenelle.

Just the other day, Evans posted a photo of her and Nathan working out together with the caption, "LEGS, couple that works out together, stays together. #HealthyActivities."

Hey, I may not agree with many of the decisions that Jenelle's made in her past. This time, though? The lady's got a point.

First things first, Jenelle's latest sweaty couple's pic:

She looks cute. They look happy. And I'm gonna agree with the Teen Mom star totally that working out with your significant other is good for your relationship. For many, many reasons.

The obvious: If you're working out together, that means that you have a mutual appreciation for how important it is to take care of yourselves. It's important to be with a person who genuinely cares about their health and well being, because then in turn -- they want you to be healthy.

But there are more benefits to working out together. I find that it brings me and my partner closer together. It makes me feel comfortable with him seeing me in all sorts of different states, no makeup on, just focusing on me. Plus, working out with a partner enables you to stay motivated, to perform your best, and to try new things. All good things when it comes to fitness, that's for sure.

Granted -- this all comes from a woman who's never really been in a long-term relationship where we didn't have a habit of heading to the gym together every once in a while or tackling a few miles on a Saturday morning. Every woman finds different things important in a partner. I suppose Jenelle and I just have this one thing in common.

Now that's a sentence I never thought I'd say.

Do you and your partner work out together?
